“Surely those men who give Sadaqah (alms) and those women who give Sadaqah and have advanced a good loan to Allah, for them it will be multiplied, and for them there is a noble reward.” (al-Hadid 57:18)

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra), The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)

Sadaqah jaariyah is an act of giving that keeps on giving. Among these is partaking in the Building of a Mosque, which goes on to benefit others and your rewards continue for as long as others benefit from your generosity. In fact, you’ll be rewarded for every single prayer recited, every word of Qur’an and Hadith learned and uttered and all acts of benefit to the people.
