Seerat-un-Nabi Conference
Cary Masjid will be having its annuall Seerat-un-Nabi conference on Saturday March 20th Inshallah. Guest speaker from out of town will be the renowned scholar, author, thinker, Sheikh Nooruddeen Durkee and wife author Noura Durkee. They have founded and head the Green Mountain School for islamic studies outside Charlottesville, Virginia. Additionally, Moulana Masood Suharwardi from New York will be revisiting us (previously in Dec) as a guest speaker as well. Click here for more info.
Salath Timings for the Month and the monthly IAC Communicator can be downloaded here. Note. Daylight Savings Time occurs on Sunday March 14 and time shifts ahead by one hour (ie Maghrib will shift from 6:22pm -> 7:22pm)
Moulana Manzarul Islam will have weekly Thursday Tafseer on Surahs from the Quran-e-Kareem. He is a qualified learned scholar and will present the lecture in a comprehensible manner. This will be every Thursday after the evening prayer.
NOTE CHANGE: Snow Make-up day from earlier this winter will be on Sunday March 21st and classes will be held that day at the regularly scheduled times. 2nd NOTE: On March 21st, Author, Educator, and Founder of the Green Mountain School, Sister Noura Durkee will be addressing the students on this day.

Ask the Mufti any question you may have about the deen, Fiqh, Quran, everyday Masla, personal, or otherwise. Your masjid's Mufti Manzarul Islam is highly-qualified and a graduate of Al-Azhar University who has written numerous white papers on various topics. Ask the Mufti time is set for every Monday after Isha where you can ask your question in a private conversation.
