Status August 2010 - Construction will Resume!
Alhumdulillah! After weeks of no progress due to lack of funds, with Allah's blessings and your donations and support and turnout at the Fundraising Dinner, we plan on resuming construction the last week of August!
Though we have enough funds and committment to start, we are still $150,000 short to fully complete this next phase of putting the Steel up and sincerely do need your support for this. Even if 100 people sign up for $100/month we will be able to meet this goal. Please contact the masjid for details.

Status July 2010 - Fundraising Dinner Aug 8th
It is almost a year that we had our last fund raising event for the
construction of the new Cary Masjid. Alhamdu Lillah, you all contributed
generously. The money was put to build foundation and the first floor
walls, along with many other underground works. Now we are ready for the
next phase to build the steel structure and the external wall
enclosure.
This is the work of AllahSWT - He will get it done. But on the way some
fortunate ones will be His soldiers who help build His house. I appeal
to all of you to participate in it as always and avail yourself with the
blessings of AllahSWT.
The event is planned for August 8, 2010, so please mark your calendar. I
am looking forward to meeting you at the event. May Allah bless our

Status June 2010
The Masjid construction has been put on temporary hold until we raise
funds for the next phase - the erection of steel structure frame. We
have fully exhausted the funds that we raised so far with the blessings
of Allah SWT that put the generosity in your hearts to allow us to
complete the first phase of foundation and retaining walls.
It is important that we urgently do the waterproofing of these walls and
backfill them before the rainy season arrives. We appeal to you to
donate or give a loan so that we can proceed with these tasks. We are
looking for volunteers to loan or contribute $5000 or more each. May
Allah SWT help us all to practipate in this great blessings from Him

has been completed. The
next task underway is the block
work and back fill, once it is
done we will be ready to erect
the steel structure. The project
has been slowed down, intentionally,
until we have funds in
hand through donations and
loans. Our immediate need is to
have partial funds for committing
to the steel structure contractor.
Status April 2010
With the entire footing of the building having been completed, we are
currently assessing our financial projections for the Masjid funds to
take the next steps of construction. We are requesting all of you to
help us build some cash at hand so that we can make our
commitments to the subcontractors. This can be in the form of new
commitments, or advancing some money from existing commitments, or
giving us a Qarde Hasna (Islamic Loan) for about 18 months.
May Allah Subhana Wa'Tala reward you abundantly for your help so far and
in the future.

Status February 2010
The cold and wet weather is affecting the planned progress. We are continuing to build shuttering along the foundation to pour the concrete , when the weather permits. We are about three weeks behind schedule.
Status January 2010
The construction progress has been very good over the last two months. We anticipate completion of the foundation work by end of January 2010. We invite you to take a walking tour and see the
progress by yourself. We owe lots of gratitude to Br. Haroon Rana who is managing it as the new project manager, and also Brs. Waqar Azeem and Siraj Chohan who are the supervisory staff.
