Imaam Manzar is originally from India and completed his Alim and Fazil studies with a qualified Dars Nizami Degree from Jamia Arabia Ziaul Uloom in Banares India.  He then went to New Delhi at the Jamia Nizamuddin Aulia university to do advanced work in Islamic literature and Dawah.

This was followed by four years at Al-Azhar university in Cario, Egypt where Imaam Manzar obtained a Degree in Ahadith and a Fellowship in Fiqh and became a certified Mufti with proper Ijaza in all four Fiqh Madhabs (Hanafi, Mailiki, Shaf'i, Hanbali) from Al-Azhar - this is something incredibly rare in today's time, Mashallah.  His  knowledge and vast areas of study also include Tasawwuf.

Imaam Manzarul Islam Al Azhari is also a prolific writer and hs written several white papers and articles in Islamic magazines on many issues related to Islam.

Our Mufti has past experience as an Imaam from San Francisco, CA and in High Point, NC.  He speaks five languages fluently:  Urdu, Arabic, English, Hindi, and Persian.  He also understands Bengali while not as fluent in speaking. 

Imaam Manzar will lead our daily prayers and Taraveeh in Ramadhan.  He will hold Quran reading classes.  And he will offer lectures and classes in the masjid.  It is indeed a great blessing to have someone Allah SWT has blessed with knowledge in our midst on a daily basis as our Imaam and we should take full advantage to learn about our religion Islam.
