DESCRIPTION:Dear Parents\, I am pleased to announce that at the Cary Masjid\, we are starting a school offering a complete education\, including the public-school curriculum\, Islamic education\, Hifz program\, and conversational Arabic language. \nOur academic goal is that when the children graduate from IQRA Academy High School\, they have outstanding scholastic standing in math\, science\, language\, and other required courses by Wake County Education Board\, as well as a high level of Islamic knowledge\, be a Hafiz\, and have conversational-level Arabic speaking ability. \nWe are doing it because we are very concerned about the liberal environment that our children face at all public schools. In addition to focusing on excellence in education\, we will be very strict about providing an Islamic moral environment. \nA recent report by Pew Research highlights that more and more people in the USA are leaning towards non-religious atheist beliefs; attendance at churches is declining\, and liberalism is increasing. We have the same concerns about our children\, and so should you. Trust me\, this is a very serious issue today at all faith-based religious places\, churches\, and synagogues included. The best solution is to enroll them in an Islamic institution\, such as the IQRA Academy at the Islamic Center of Cary. \nWe have hired a very experienced Principal to run the school—Sr. Gulsangay Rashdi\, who was the chief administrator at a local Islamic institution for over 12 years. She will be supported by Sr. Sobia Estrela\, who has 25 years of experience at Cary Elementary School and has been the “Teacher of the Year” for the last 10 years. Shaikh Imam Sami will lead the Islamic curriculum\, and Shaikh Khaled Shwaiki will lead the Hifz program. \nWe have chosen to teach our children with the most advanced method of teaching – the world’s best online curriculum from ‘Khan Academy\,’ supervised by in-person certified teachers in each class. \nAt the new Cary Masjid\, we have outstanding school facilities and a playground for the children. \nIQRA Student registration  \nRegistration will start on March 3rd 2025. \nRegards\, \n\n\n\nIQRA FULLTIME SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION\n\n\n\nBr.
