Night of Isra & Mi’raj on Friday, April 13, 2018. Special Ibadah at Cary Masjid

The night of Isra & Miraj is a night of tremendous blessings from AllahSWT. Salmaan FaarsiRA narrates that RasulAllahSAW said: “There is a day in the month of Rajab on which if a person fasts and does Qiyamul Lail (night vigil) on that night, he will receive rewards like a person who fasts for 100 years and does Qiyamul Lail for nights of 100 years. This is the night of the 27th (Rajab) and the day of the 27th (Rajab).” This year 27th of Rajab coincides with Friday, April 13, 2018. At Cary Masjid, we will hold a special Ibadah night.  We invite all to join us for this blessed night. The program is as follows:

9:30 – 9:45 pm         Isha Prayers

9:45 – 10:25 pm       Virtues of Night of Isra & Mi’raj – Imam Manzarul Islam

10:30 – 11:30 pm     Salat-ut-Tasbih (in Jama’at)

4:00 – 4:45 am         Qiyamul Lail (Tahajjud)

6:00 – 6:15 am         Fajr Prayers

RasulAllahSAW said: “In the Garden of Paradise there is a river called Rajab, whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. If someone has fasted for one day during the month of Rajab, Allah will let him quench his thirst by drinking from that river.” Anab ibn MalikRA is reported as having said: “In the Garden of Paradise there is a palace that no one may enter, except for someone who makes a frequent practice of fasting during the month of Rajab.” RasulAllahSAW said:” If someone keeps the fast on the 27th day of Rajab, he will be credited with the same reward as that which is earned by fasting for sixty months.”
